7 Useul Tips to Help Plan your Vacation

1.When planning how many days you want to spend at the theme parks, you might not want to try and visit the theme park on the day you are arriving in town. Check-in at the hotels is not until 3pm, and by the time you arrive in town and get settled it does not leave very much time to enjoy your park of choice. One theme park which is great to visit on your arrival day is one of the smaller theme parks which only take a few hours to go through. Some suggestions are: Disney Quest, Disney Sports Zone, any of the putt-putt golf course, Downtown Disney (free) or Universal City Walk (free).

2. If you are visiting during high season (Spring Break, Christmas, Thanksgiving, or the 4th of July Weekend) you might want to include Sea World as one of the parks you visit. Sea World has very few theme park rides and most of their shows have no lines. After spending a few days of standing in long lines, a day of being able to just walk up and enjoy Shamu or the dolphins will be a huge relief.

3. If you are going to visit Walt Disney World you may want the park hopper. The park hopper allows you to visit multiple parks in the same day. It is more expensive to get the park hopper option, so unless you plan on moving around you might want to stick with the base ticket.

4. If you are staying for more than 5 days you might want to visit the Three Biggies: Universal, Sea World, and Walt Disney World. You can do this by getting a 2 Day Park Hopper to Disney, 2 Day Universal Ticket, and a 1 Day Sea World or another suggestion is a 3 Day Park Hopper, 1 Day Universal, and 1 Day Sea World.

5. If you come back to Orlando quite often or if you think you will be coming back in the near future consider buying more days on your park hopper tickets to Walt Disney World. For example, if you are going to be going to Disney World for 4 days you might want to buy the 7 day park hopper. This way when you come back in a year or two you will still have 3 days left to visit the parks. The seven day park hopper is only a few dollars more expensive plus a small fee to make it have no expiration date. It may cost you to more on each ticket this year, but will save you money in the long run.

6. Walt Disney World is huge, actually it is the size of two Mahattan Islands put together. We suggest if you are coming on a short vacation or if you have never been to Disney World before you might consider spending most of your vacation here. We promise there is plenty of rides, activities, and restaurants to keep you busy.

7. Orlando has two huge outlet shopping malls, and most hotels/vacation home communities have great pools so you don’t have to plan a specific theme park for everyday you are on vacation. In fact, a recent survey showed that most visitors walk as much a 5 miles a day at each one of the theme parks. There is no need to wear yourself out.
