Should you stay on Disney World Property or an offsite hotel? It all depends on your party and what you want to do while you are on vacation. Please understand that the hotel is probably going to be one of the least expensive components of your Disney World package, but as you well know a hotel can be the difference between a great vacation and a lousy one.

A. On Site Hotels- If you want to stay on the Disney World Properties then you are probably going to spend a few more dollars than you would if you stayed off site. However, there are some great amenities of staying onsite; one in particular is the FREE shuttle service that runs every 30 minutes to all the theme parks. This is great for families with small children (don’t forget about nap times), or families that like to go to the parks in the morning then come back to the hotel to rest and relax before returning to the parks in the afternoon.

One of the ways to cut down on the cost of staying onsite is to choose a hotel that is on the Disney World property but that is not owned by Disney World. These hotels offer many of the same amenities as the Disney owned hotels but at a fraction of the price.
