If you are looking for the best deals on a Disney World Vacation then you are going to want to purchase a package deal which comes complete with theme park tickets and lodging. Here are a few things which will help you save money when booking a vacation package.
1) What type of tickets come in the vacation package? If you are going to be visiting Disney World, we suggest purchasing the base tickets and then adding the options once you get here. Each option such as the park hopper will cost you around $50. Now a lot of people really like the park hopper option and some people never use it. I personally never use the park hopper while my wife loves this option (I guess opposites attract). It only takes about 3 minutes to add the option to your tickets when you are here, so I suggest not purchasing until you know for sure that you are going to use this option.
2) Stay a hotel which best suits your family. Staying on Disney World property is really nice, but it tends to be a little more expensive than if you stay just outside the main gate of Disney World. Keep in mind, the
Disney World hotels offer free shuttle service to all the Disney World parks every thirty minutes. If you are the type of family which goes to Disney World early in the morning and you return to your hotel when the park close, then staying off site will save you quite a bit of money.
3) Book your flights separately. When a travel agent plans your vacation complete with airfare, hotel reservation, and theme park tickets there is too many areas for them to inflate the price of your vacation. We suggest you get a quote for the theme park tickets and the lodging separately then compare this to the entire package which includes airfare. By doing it this way you will be able to see exactly what you are paying for the flights... often times you will be surprised at the price.
