If you want to do an all you can see Orlando vacation package, we suggest you spend at least 6 days here in Orlando. Here is how we suggest you spend your days the various theme parks.

A) We suggest you spend at least three days to Disney World and upgrade your tickets to park hoppers. Magic Kingdom and Epcot are two parks were you will want to spend all days in, the other two (Hollywood Studios and Animal Kingdom) are half day parks each.

B) We suggest you spend two days at Universal Studios. One day seeing all you can at the Universal Studios theme park and the other at Islands of Adventure. The Islands of Adventure theme park is the one that has the Harry Potter Attraction.

C) Finally, we suggest spending only one day at Sea World. Sea World  is a smaller theme park and it will only take about 6 hours to go through. There is something really refreshing about Sea World so you might want to plan this day in the middle of your vacation.

Cheapest Orlando Vacation Packages

Saturday, July 10th, 2010

I was asked the other day from a really nice lady that wanted to bring her grandsons to Orlando, “how do you get the cheapest Orlando vacation package?”

Here are a few tips to follow:

1. Choose one theme park- Disney World designed the Magic Your Way Ticket in part to try and keep guests away from Universal Studios and Sea World. Most guests like to stay 3 days at Disney and then they spend one day at Universal Studios and one day at Sea World; however, with Disney’s ticket system this is a very expensive way to plan your vacation. After you have paid for three days at Disney World they almost give you the extra days for free. For example, at the time of this post a 3 day ticket to Disney cost $218 for an adult and a 7 day ticket to Disney is $219. For $1 more you may visit the Disney parks for 3 extra days, if you want to visit Sea World or Universal on these days it will cost you an extra $78 per person per day.

2. Stay near Disney not on Disney- If you stay at a hotel in Kissimmee which is near Disney World you can save yourself as much as 35% to 45% per night as compared to staying at a Disney owned hotel. If you are looking for a Kissimmee hotel look for one which displays the Disney Good Neighbor symbol. This symbol means they meet Disney high customer service standards.

3. Purchase your package in advance- Hotels and Travel companies are similar to airlines. The prices all start out low but as the plane starts to fill up the prices go up and up and up. Hotels are very similar, as the hotels start to fill up the prices tend to go up.

We hope these three tips are helpful to you when planning your next Orlando vacation.
