EXPLANATION OF DISNEY WORLD TICKETS

When planning your Walt Disney World Vacation the most expensive part of your vacation will be purchasing your theme park tickets. In 2005, The Walt Disney World Company rolled out “Magic Your Way” Tickets in hopes of simplifying the ticket selection process. The hope was to allow the visitors a greater opportunity to customize their own vacation, what they have essentially done is make the selection process much more difficult.

There are essentially three (3) main ticket categories for you to choose from: Magic Your Way, Magic Your Way Park Hopper, and Magic Your Way Park Hopper with Water Park Options (also known as the Ultimate Ticket). Each ticket category has the option for you to purchase 1-7 day tickets and then we also have the 10 day ticket. You may also make any ticket have a non-expiration option (we suggest not purchasing the non-expiration option until the end of your trip for it is the same price to pre-purchase it as it is to add it at the end)

Magic Your Way Tickets- This ticket is the cheapest option for you and your family. It allows you to visit one park each day, so if you purchased a 4 Day Magic Your Way Ticket you may visit one park for each of the four days.
Advantage- Since the parks at Walt Disney World are so large it will take you at least a day to go through each one, many guests have found this ticket option the best for their buck.
Disadvantage- If the park you decide to go to on a particular day is extremely busy you do not have the option to jump to another park. The most popular park at Walt Disney World is The Magic Kingdom (this is also the park with the most rides). On extremely busy days you may have to wait in line up to an hour and a half or more.

Magic Your Way Park Hopper- This ticket is by far the most popular, for it allows you and your family the most flexibility at a fair price. The ticket works the same as the Magic Your Way Ticket, but you have the ability to jump from one park to the other through out the day. You may visit any of the four major theme parks (MGM Studios, Magic Kingdom, Animal Kingdom, and/or EPCOT). Each of the parks is connect by the Disney World Monorail system which usually takes about 90 seconds or less to get from one park to the next.
Advantage- This is the most popular ticket at Disney World because it gives you the ability to hop from park to park. If one park is extremely busy you may jump over to another park. Also some parks are better to view at different times during the day for example: Animal Kingdom is best to see in the morning for the animals are much more active during their morning feeding time, MGM Studios and Magic Kingdom are great to visit in the afternoon, and ECPOT has the best fireworks display each and every night. With the Park Hopper Tickets, you and your family enjoy the best Disney World has to offer each and everyday.
Disadvantage- By adding the park hopper option it is an additional per ticket for large families this can be quite an expense.

Magic Your Way Park Hopper with Water Park Options (Ultimate Ticket) - This ticket is best ticket if you are truly a Disney World Fanatic for it allows you to see everything Disney has to offer and then some. This ticket allows you and your family the advantages of the Park Hopper tickets, but you also have the options to visit some of Disney Worlds smaller theme parks such as: either one of the two water parks, Disney Quest, Pleasure Island, or the Disney’s Wide World of Sports. The more days you purchase the more admissions you will receive to get into the smaller theme parks; for example, if you purchased a 4 Day Ultimate Ticket you will get 2 admissions to the smaller theme parks, the 5 day ticket you will receive 3 admissions.
Advantage- A great option for families wanting to experience everything Disney World has to offer. It is much cheaper to purchase these tickets than it is to purchase each park individually.
Disadvantage- These are the most expensive ticket options and you may find that you simply will not have the time to experience all the benefits of these tickets.
